Greenpeace activists were shocked when learned that Nestle has forgotten about his promise, which is given in conjunction with other chocolate manufacturers. This promise was to end the use of palm oil (it is used in place of cocoa butter). The promise was given, because palm oil plantation owners produced as to its design, the felling of tropical forests threatens Sumatran tigers, orangutantus, chimpanzees and other creatures champagne that live in these forests.
It has not anything crazy, but these tropical forests located on peat bogs, which ignites bless the globe with tonnes of carbon dioxide. These and other things have come to light, led numerous companies to withdraw their plants in Malaysia and Indonesia. Of course, no one has suggested that the slave plantations champagne accused * use * (the 21st century, guys!) * Land * stealing * and even murders *.
And nothing is over. Yet in 2009 it was discovered that Nestle buys milk from farms owned by Grace Mugabe, Prime Zimbambves-dictator's wife. Knowing how is Zimbabwe's financial situation, there is not much mention of how these farms are operated: workers paid 20 lats (29 euros +/-) per month, they can not afford milk, which helps to make themselves, champagne and they do not have electricity. Both the United States and Canada, the European Union has taken sanctions against the Mugabe regime, but Nestle is Swiss, so they not care.
Some time after the company learned that Nestle is doing in Zimbabwe, they will, of course, from there notin. It may well explain the fact that the company's employees began to persecute Mugabe subordinates. That, you see, this sweet chocolate industry.
