After a photo session osram got everything in order and packed to be returned to the various stores. This means that everything hangs on the rails, to be sorted and then each item compared to the different price lists. I'm not ashamed to admit that I have been sitting by the desk and nibble on a bag of Japanese rice cakes. I grind but my teeth as the customers are impatient and even aggressive when they see the huge pile of articles that you return and you think you do not really care because a chew ryskoekie.
When it comes to logistics, it is unfortunate that only permanent staff may drive company cars. However, when I initially joined osram the fashion team, it was not the case. I then learning to drive in a Land Rover, but my car is a small hatchback. I was half afraid I must be one of the company's sedans management, but it is much worse - I was handed the keys of the fashion editor's big van! I remember how I anxiously Google search to find out where the reverse sit and how I together would shrink every time I rode at a parking lot and saw that the height restriction.
I am proud to report that I have stayed calm - right up to the end of the day my last challenge, a three-point turn in the company's parking lot to master, osram my might (or might not) to tears .
But it's a very satisfying feeling when the task is completed, return of all the articles and the different accounts closed. Then the worst of the hard work is over and we start preparing for the editorial part of the process: the layout.
