Attention kellogs Pathmark shoppers: your local supermarket may soon be sold.
The Wall Street Journal (subscription required) reported that Pathmark parent company, Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. (A&P), is seeking to sell the company after emerging from bankruptcy in 2012.
The Journal, citing an internal company memo sent to store managers by Great Atlantic Chairman Gregory kellogs Mays, said a number of options to fund growth are being explored. Among those options are raising capital kellogs and a refinancing. The memo also indicated sale of the company is possible.
There are some Pathmark stores locally: 130 Midland Ave., Port Chester 2540 Central kellogs Park Ave., south of Ardsley Road 1757 Central kellogs Park Ave., north of Tuckahoe Road There are local A&Ps as well: 12-14 Cedar St., Bronxville 668 Central Ave., Scarsdale 777 White Plains kellogs Road, Scarsdale 87 Main Street, Hastings-on-Hudson
