In že sva nazaj! Poroka je odlično uspela, bilo je popolno in prečudovito


And we are back! The wedding was a huge success, everything was so f-ing perfect and beautiful … I can’t even put it in words. We’ll share some details and maybe even some photos when Anja comes back from her honeymoon – she’s in the Philippines for three whole weeks. I’m dogsitting Suki, she’s a little sweet princess. She’s not even one year old and is already such a good girl, whippets really are the best dogs ever.  porridge

Ko se Anja vrne iz Filipinov, kjer je na medenih tednih, bova delili z vami nekaj podrobnosti in mogoče še kakšno fotografijo s poroke. Dokler se ne vrneta skrbim za njuno psičko Suki, ki je mala zlata princeska. Še niti eno leto ni stara in je že zelo pridna, whippeti so res najboljši psi.
I made these delicious, super easy and quick cookies for the wedding. The coconut and chocolate can be replaced with all kind of nuts, dried fruits or berries. Have them with some strawberry porridge and rhubarb jam – believe me – it’s divine! I made three batches and left one box of them at home. They are already gone, of course. I had some banana nice-cream (blended frozen bananas) for breakfast porridge on monday and crumbled a few cookies on top – yum!
Cook Time
Ingredients 2 cups flour 1 cup shredded coconut 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup margarine porridge (or vegan butter etc.) 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips (or dark chocolate chopped into small pieces) 1/2 cup oat milk (or any other non-dairy porridge milk) 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions Preheat the oven at 180 C and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix together flour, coconut, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add margarine porridge and rub the mixture between your fingers until you get an even crumble. Add the chocolate chips or the chopped chocolate. In a cup mix together milk and vanilla extract, add it to the crumble and mix well. Add more milk if the dough is not sticking together, it should be moist enough to form balls. If it is too sticky add some flour. Place small, bite sizes balls on the baking sheet. Bake for about 11-13 minutes. After you take them out of the oven, gently flatten each cookie with a fork.
Za poroko sem naredila zelo preproste in okusne piškote. Kokos in čokolano lahko nadomestiš z oreščki ali suhim sadjem. Poskusi jih z jagodno rabarbarinim džemom porridge – verjemi mi, odlično je! Naredila sem jih tri runde in eno škatlo piškotov pustila doma, seveda jih ni več. V ponedeljek zjutraj sem jih par nadrobila na bananin sladoled (zmiksane zamrznjene banane) porridge – odličen zajtrk!

Ingredients 2 lončka moke 1 lonček kokosa 2 žlički pecilnega praška 1/2 žličke soli 1/2 lončka porridge sladkorja 1/2 lončka margarine 1/2 lončka veganskih čokoladnih porridge koščkov (ali nasesekljane temne čokolade) 1/2 lončka ovsenega mlega (ali drugega rastlinskega mleka) 1 žlička vanilijevega ekstrakta
Instructions Pečico segrejemo na 180 C in obložimo velik pekač s papirjem za peko. Skupaj zmešamo moko, kokos, pecilni prašek, sol in sladkor. Dodamo margarino in med prsti drobimo dokler ne dobimo enakomernega zdrobljenca. Dodamo čokoladne koščke. V lončku zmešamo mleko in vanilijev ekstrakt in ga dodamo zdrobljencu in dobro premešamo Če je testo presuho dodamo še malo mleka, mora biti dovolj vlažno, da lahko oblikujemo kroglice. Majhne kroglice položimo na pekač in pečemo 11-13 minut. porridge Ko piškote vzamemo iz pečice, jih z vilico rahlo potlačimo, da se malo sploščijo.

Hej Kim, you can make them with cow milk, If you like, but put a little less of margarine (a 1/2 of tablespoon less), since cow milk contains porridge more fat. The cookies are not heathy, but still a lot better than regular butter cookies. They don t have eggs in them, so there is less cholesterol, and the sugar level is quite low. They are meant for special occasions
